The Jormungandr, a child of the Norse god Loki, is known as the 'Midgard' or World Serpent, the greatest ouroboros. It encircles the ocean around the world, and if it releases its tail, the world will end. This pendant features the serpent's body with runes on the front reading 'Jormungandr Miogarosormr', meaning 'Jormundgard the World Serpent'. It's an antiqued pewter pendant in a Viking - style, where the serpent - dragon bites its own tail to form a ring. The front has runic engravings, and the reverse shows the serpent's names.
